As direct competition for the popular iPad, iPad Mini and iPad Air, the Samsung Galaxy Tab models are lighter and thinner than their Apple counterparts yet have larger screens and thanks to the Android open source operating system far more functionality. As if that wasn't enough, how does an Octa-core processor sound. That's right, 8 core processors. With 3GB of RAM this processor cruises at lightning speed and also offers a 2.1 Megapixel front facing camera and a powerful 8.1 Megapixel rear camera. Some call this competition for the iPad, but those at Samsung are still searching for their competition.
